The following post contains Dr. Pipa’s invitation to supporters and friends of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary to participate in our Spring Semester day of fasting and prayer. For more information, contact the Seminary’s main office at info@gpts.edu.
Each semester, we host a day of fasting and prayer at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. We conduct this regularly occurring day of intense pleading with God for the sake of biblically understood spiritual revival in Christ’s church.
You are invited to join us (either in-person or from afar) for our Spring Semester day of fasting and prayer next Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Our resident students and faculty members intend to fast during the lunch hour in order to pray together for spiritual revival. Some of the men in our community will fast the entire day.
We will specifically pray for the Holy Spirit to empower the preaching of God-fearing pastors in Greenville, and the preaching of our graduates around the world.
Will you commit to joining us in prayer, even if you are not able to join us in-person (or in fasting, for medical reasons)?
If you are able to join us on-campus, our chapel meeting will begin at 11:15AM (EDT) with a sermon from Pastor Peter Van Doodwaard (MDiv ’07) of Covenant Community Orthodox Presbyterian Church (Taylors, SC), followed by an hour of prayer from 12PM to 1PM (EDT).
Thank you for considering joining us, and for your prayerful support of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
