Dr. Jonathan. L. Master (PhD, University of Aberdeen) serves as President of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Dr. Master served in pastoral ministry in several congregations in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and subsequently as Dean and Professor of Theology at Cairn University near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has taught for numerous other institutions including Westminster Seminary (UK) and Edinburgh Theological Seminary. Dr. Master is the author and editor of books including A Question of Consensus: The Doctrine of Assurance After the Westminster Confession (Fortress Press, 2015), The God We Worship (P&R, 2016), On Reforming Worship (Covenant Publications, 2018), Growing in Grace (Banner of Truth, 2020), and Reformed Theology (P&R, 2023). He contributes regularly to a variety of periodicals, including Tabletalk Magazine. Dr. Master serves on the Executive Council of the Gospel Reformation Network, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, where he hosts the “Theology on the Go” podcast for the Alliance with James Dolezal.

Dr. William VanDoodewaard (PhD, University of Aberdeen) serves as Academic Dean and Professor of Church History. Dr. VanDoodewaard served in pastoral ministry in several church plants in Michigan. Prior to coming to Greenville, he served as Professor of Church History at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, and as a visiting professor at Reformed Theological Seminary (Houston) and Mukhanyo Theological College (Pretoria, South Africa). He has also held appointments as Visiting Research Fellow at Queens University Belfast and Visiting Scholar at Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. VanDoodewaard is the author and editor of The Marrow Controversy and Seceder Tradition: Atonement, Saving Faith, and the Gospel Offer in Scotland (Reformation Heritage, 2011), The Quest for the Historical Adam: Genesis, Hermeneutics and Human Origins (Reformation Heritage, 2015), 1 & 2 Peter: Feed My Sheep (Evangelical Press, 2017), and Charles Hodge: Exegetical Lectures and Sermons on Hebrews (Banner of Truth, 2019). He is also a contributor to numerous journals and periodicals, including Tabletalk Magazine.

Dr. Sidney Dyer (PhD, Bob Jones University) serves as Dean of Students and Professor of Greek and New Testament. Dr. Dyer served in pastoral ministry in church planting in South Carolina, as well as in pulpit supply in churches in North and South Carolina. He is the author of “The New Testament Doctrine of Creation” in Did God Create in 6 Days? (Southern Presbyterian Press, 1999) and A Preparatory Grammar to New Testament Greek (Ambassador International, 2008), and has contributed to several journals and periodicals.

Dr. Ryan McGraw (PhD, University of the Free State) serves as Morton H. Smith Professor of Systematic Theology. He has pastored churches in the PCA and OPC, and serves currently as Teacher at Covenant Community OPC, Taylors SC. His academic books include works on John Owen (V&R 2014; Palgrave 2017), Reformed Scholasticism (T&T Clark 2020), and Charles Hodge (V&R 2023). Aiming at the church more broadly, his passion has been to popularize devotional Trinitarian theology in numerous books such as 31 Meditations on the Trinity (RHB 2023) and What is Covenant Theology? (Crossway 2024). Editing and contributing to several journals, he and Joel Beeke are co-editors of the Cultivating Biblical Godliness series.

Dr. Ben Dunson (PhD, University of Durham) is Professor of New Testament. He has served as Assistant Professor of New Testament at Reformation Bible College, and Associate Professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary (Dallas).

Dr. L. Michael Morales (PhD, Trinity College, University of Bristol) serves as Professor of Biblical Studies. Dr. Morales served in pastoral ministry in Tennessee and Florida. He previously served as Professor and Chair of Biblical Studies at Reformation Bible College, and taught Hebrew and Old Testament at Knox Theological Seminary, Fort Lauderdale. He also regularly teaches for Westminster Seminary UK. Dr. Morales is the author and editor of a number of books including The Tabernacle Prefigured: Cosmic Mountain Ideology in Genesis and Exodus (Peeters Publishers, 2012), Cult and Cosmos: Tilting Toward a Temple-Centered Theology (Peeters Publishers, 2014), Who Shall Ascend the Mountain of the Lord?: A Biblical Theology of the Book of Leviticus (IVP Academic, 2015), David’s Son and David’s Lord: Christology for God’s People (Evangelical Press, 2019), and Exodus Old and New: A Biblical Theology of Redemption (IVP Academic, 2020). He is series editor for IVP Academic’s Essential Studies in Biblical Theology and has contributed to journals including The Southern Baptist Journal of Theology and Unio cum Christo.

Dr. Joseph A. Pipa Jr. (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is Professor of Systematic and Applied Theology and President Emeritus. Dr. Pipa served in pastoral ministry in Mississippi, Texas, and California, and currently serves in a church plant in South Carolina. He previously served as Associate Professor of Practical Theology and Director of Advanced Studies at Westminster Seminary California. Dr. Pipa has spoken at conferences and lectured at seminaries globally, including Brazil, Nigeria, South Korea, and the UK. He is the author and editor of books including Root and Branch (Christian Focus, 1989), The Lord’s Day (Christian Focus, 1996), Did God Create in 6 Days? (Southern Presbyterian Press, 1999), Written for our Instruction: The Sufficiency of Scripture for all of Life (Southern Presbyterian Press, 2001), Sanctification: Growing in Grace (Southern Presbyterian Press, 2001), Confessing Our Hope: Essays Celebrating the Life and Ministry of Morton H. Smith (Southern Presbyterian Press, 2005), Galatians: God’s Proclamation of Liberty (Christian Focus, 2010), The Westminster Confession of Faith Study Book: A Study Guide for Churches (Christian Focus, 2012), and How Can I Do All Things for God’s Glory? (Reformation Heritage Books, 2017). Dr. Pipa has also contributed chapters to numerous other published works.

Dr. Kevin Backus (PhD, Whitefield Theological Seminary) is Adjunct Professor of Counseling. He is Senior Pastor of the Bible Presbyterian Church of Grand Island, New York, and teaches biblical counseling at Western Reformed Seminary in Tacoma, Washington, and the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Scott Cook (PhD, Mid-America Baptist Seminary) is Visiting Professor of Apologetics. He is Pastor of Oconee Presbyterian Church in Seneca, SC, and has served as Visiting Professor of Cultural Apologetics and Christian Worldview at Erskine College, Due West, South Carolina.

Dr. Tony Curto (DMin, Westminster Seminary California) is Adjunct Professor of Missions and Evangelism. He served extensively as a missionary in Uganda and Ethiopia and is currently an emeritus missionary of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church serving in Switzerland.

Mr. James “Bebo” Elkin (ThM, Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, Virginia) is Adjunct Lecturer of Applied Theology. He has served as an adjunct professor at Belhaven University, Covenant Theological Seminary, and Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson and Charlotte). Mr. Elkin serves as a ruling elder at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. David Gilbert (DMin, Reformed Theological Seminary) is Adjunct Professor of Preaching. He is Senior Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, Douglasville, Georgia, and previously served as Pastor of Second Presbyterian Church, Yazoo City, Mississippi.

Dr. Ian Hamilton (DD, Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary) is Adjunct Professor of Applied Theology. He is President and Professor of Historical Theology at Westminster Seminary UK, and a minister of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of England and Wales. He served as Pastor of Cambridge Presbyterian Church, Cambridge, England, and Loudoun Church of Scotland, Newmilns, Scotland.

Dr. Breno Macedo (PhD, Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary) is Adjunct Professor of Preaching. He serves as Pastor of Messiah’s Independent Reformed Church of Holland, Michigan.

Mr. Roland Matthews (ThM, Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary) is Visiting Lecturer in Hebrew and Old Testament. He serves as Senior Pastor of Draper’s Valley Presbyterian Church, in Draper, Virginia.

Dr. Nick Willborn (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is Adjunct Professor of Historical Theology. He serves as Senior Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and is an Editor of The Confessional Presbyterian Journal.

Mr. Chad Vegas is Visiting Lecturer in Missions. He is the founding pastor of Sovereign Grace Church in Bakersfield, CA. He completed his M.A. in Theology at Talbot and he is the founding board chairman of Radius International, an organization that trains people to plant churches among unreached language groups.
