The Lord continues to bless Greenville Seminary in extraordinary ways. Recently, a friend of the seminary donated funds for the purchase of a small cul-de-sac of new duplexes near the Seminary which we will use for student housing. This was a tremendous answer to prayer. While we have always worked to make sure our seminary training is as affordable as possible, many students still struggle to find a place to live for themselves and their families while studying here. We thank the Lord for this wonderful provision. Many men and many congregations will be directly helped because of it.
Students in Residence
This remarkable gift helps us to fulfill our mission even more effectively than before. Our focus is narrow: training men for pastoral ministry and shaping their doctrine in line with our confessional standards. We know that pastoral training happens best in residence. Students in residence learn from their classmates and faculty members in personal ways, both inside and outside the classroom. Pastors must be godly men. Not only must their doctrine be biblical, but they must also strive for holiness in their lives as well.

Thank the Lord with Us
We continue to be overwhelmed by God’s kindness to Greenville Seminary. We are entirely dependent upon the Lord for our provision. Each year, December is the month in which the Lord has met our financial needs for the year. He does it through generous individuals and churches. We will be writing more in the coming weeks about ways to help, but, for now, we wanted to encourage you with this exciting development. Please thank the Lord with us for His unexpected and gracious provision.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.— Psalm 100:4–5
