“What is the significance of [insert doctrine here] in my life?”
Each month, Confessing Our Hope features Dr. Joseph Pipa in the studio in order to field questions from listeners. Many of these questions deal with the application of biblical truth, especially as understood by the historic Presbyterian witness to the Reformed faith. Over the past several months, Dr. Pipa has addressed issues covering a vast spectrum of topics.
“What is the fear of God, and is it important for the Christian?”
“Do you think preachers need to speak differently to Millennials than they do to an older generation?”
“Can Satan or his minions perform true miracles?”
“Should women teach in seminaries?”
“Is the Directory of Public Worship a crutch that replaced a strait-jacket?”
“How can pastors effectively minister to their people in a world dominated by social media personalities telling Christians what to believe?”
“Is it a denial of the Christian faith for a believer to run for elected office on a pro-choice platform?”
There are many more, and listeners submit new questions every week.
Episodes run for about an hour, and this month saw the publication of Episode 43 in the Faith & Practice segment. To download and listen to Faith & Practice #43, click here.
