Zachary Groff, Director of Advancement & Admissions
With the Spring Theology Conference and Spring Scholarship Banquet about a month away, we are keeping very busy around the Seminary. We also welcomed a dozen new students into our student body this month. These men have begun their studies with us “out-of-sequence,” which means that they are entering into the program in the middle of the year. Please keep these gentlemen in your prayers as you think of us.
We are glad to have run a surplus (over expenses) in January. Our total income for the month, including donations and other sources, was $119,706. Expenses were $111,762 for the month, resulting in a $7,944 net income. For the year, revenues have outpaced expenses by $37,513. We rejoice in God’s provision for our faculty and students.
Looking ahead to next month’s Spring Theology Conference, we are anticipating a larger-than-usual crowd. Though it is impossible to forecast a headcount with any degree of certainty at this point, we have more registrants now than we have ever had at this point in past years. The limited seating for our Spring Scholarship Banquet is also quickly filling up as we prepare to welcome many friends from around the country to celebrate together Dr. Pipa’s 20 years as President of the Seminary. For more information, visit our Conference and Banquet pages.
If you would like to make a financial gift to the Seminary, you may do so either online at gpts.edu/donate or by mailing a check containing your gift to GPTS, PO Box 690, Taylors, SC 29687. Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary is a registered 501( c )(3) charitable organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible. Thank you for your generous support! Ω
